Each product is hand-made by skilled artisan blacksmiths, glass blowers, and potters who all have a passion for their artistic craft. Their blood sweat and tears go into each and every piece they create for you, and no two items will ever be exactly alike. It's because of this technique that these items stand alone in quality and satisfaction. The individual tool marks leave a lifelong story on every item. The quality and comfort these hand-made items bring into your space is undeniable.
Old World Pine -
Our old world pine is hand selected from premium lumber yards, hand-plainned and tastefully distressed. Each old world pine top is inspected and approved before being sent out as a table top or seat option.
Natural Marble -
Our natural marble differs with each slice, just as Mother Nature intended. Please choose between our two available colors and we will do the best we can to match them from our inventory. Our marble tops are cut from natural stone with the individual and various flaws and seams of nature. These characteristics should be anticipated and appreciated as part of the natural beauty of this organic product. To further insure strength and flexibility, each stone top is inserted with a large cross of fiberglass on the bottom side. We cannot accept returns for stone tops based on color or natural flaws. Your stone top will be shipped standing upright on a pallet. It should not be stored flat on the floor or dropped during the disassembly of crate. Please uncrate carefully and call immediately with any damages.
Hand-Fired Copper -
Our copper tops are made of recycled copper which is melted in a wood fire, rolled into a sheet, and hammered by hand every square inch. Hammering the copper causes it to be stressed and brittle, so the next process is to return the copper sheet back to the fire so it can be annealed, or softened. This procedure requires the copper to be heated and quickly cooled. This process is repeated depending on the amount of hammering required. The black and mottled discoloration on the copper is caused by the carbon in the fire and will be different with each piece. When the copper skin is completed, it is hammered around and attached to a wooden core.
Hand-Blown and Recycled Glass -
Our hand-blown and recycled glass, tends to form freely in its own way. Sizes, shapes and colors may vary from pictured images because of this. These changes are part of the items artistic beauty.
Product Care -
Maintenance on the items is fairly simple - Dusting with a dry lint free microfiber cloth or anything without chemicals is ideal. All iron and protected table top surfaces can be cleaned easily with mild soap and warm water. We recommend furniture polish be used regularly, every 1-2 months or as needed based on use. We ship all of our copper tops with a wax coating and recommend that you wax your copper table every 1-2months.
Warranty -
Mathews & Company has a 1 year warranty on all hand-forged iron products for covering general construction including welds, moving parts such as swivels, fabric separation, and paint finish. A photo image and detailed description of the defect must be provided before the acceptance of any warranty claims. During this warranty period, Timeless Wrought Iron will, at our option, repair or replace any such defective component without charge except for transportation, shipping and handling costs. A return merchandise authorization (R.M.A.) must be issued by us before returning any merchandise. All returns must be suitably packed to prevent further damage (preferably in the original carton). Craftsmanship or the use of natural materials may cause minor variations to occur from piece to piece. This warranty does not cover such minor differences. This warranty is in effect for products under normal use. No credit or allowance will be made for damages or defects resulting from abuse, improper maintenance, fire or natural disaster.

Shipping methods vary based on the size of your order from regular small truck delivery to semi truck.
To-your-door ground Shipping is Free on any order over $250.00! If you're ordering a truck load, or need help carrying in and setting up we do offer White Glove Delivery services which can be selected during checkout as your preferred method of delivery.

Lead Time -
The current shop lead time is 3-5 Weeks. Remember these items are hand-made and take time to build - We ask that you please be patient as the quality and selection are well worth the wait. If you need a project rushed please give us a call (800) 957-1178; We can sometimes accommodate a rush order but there will be a 15% up-charge for rush orders.
Returns -
Returns are easy - If you are not completely satisfied with this product you can return it within 45 days after receiving the item. Return merchandise is shipped back at your expense and it is your responsibility to package the items so they do not get damaged during transit. The only time you are not responsible for shipping charges is if the item was damaged in transit or if it has manufacture defects. This manufacture also charges a 15% restocking-fee if the item is coming back for reasons other than manufacture defects.
